He believed that similar to turtles seeking the ocean, many Tamil people were drawn by the sea, followed the sea and explored the world.
He drew references on the similarities between Orissa culture and the Tamil culture.
He formed a consolidated oceanic cultural research centre and emphasised on the importance of the seas and the environment.
We have lost a great man who loved the Tamil language and Tamil culture. My tribute to him.
