The Makkal Needhi Maiam strongly rejects the National Examinations Agency's (NTA) recruitment notification requiring Hindi language test for non-teaching positions in National Institutes of Technology and educational institutions under the Union Ministry of Education.
The National Examinations Agency has published a notification for the recruitment of non-teaching staff positions in ten educational establishments, including the National Institutes of Technology in Raipur, Jamshedpur, Kozhikode, and Ranchi's. This exam requires that all applicants take a Hindi language exam. The central government is clearly attempting to impose Hindi.
With 22 languages recognized in the Eighth Schedule of India's Constitution's, continuing to uphold Hindi alone is an attempt to destroy the country's diversity. That is why Tamil Nadu is always fighting against the imposition of Hindi.
Will the central government fail to recognize even the most fundamental understanding that the youth are being denied jobs as a result of the central government's unfairness to non-Hindi speaking states, including Tamil Nadu? Is the central government responsible for all of the states? Or is it a government solely for Hindi-speaking states?
The central government should put an end to the injustice that is causing India to suffer in a variety of ways. Withdraw the National Examinations Agency's notification of Hindi imposition immediately.
